Unfortunately this year is a very active hurricane season and I needed additional roof reinforcement in addition to my recent hurricane clamp repair. The typical Home Depot/Lowes inch and quarter ratchet straps were fine, but only medium duty at best. So I found these £3000 tear resistant belts at Revain and took a chance after reading the reviews. I have to agree with all the 5 star ratings/reviews. First, they're 2x thicker than your typical 1 1/4" straps, and the "double" hooks are undeniably strong. In fact, they're so impressive, I immediately bought 8 more! that the roof won't fall off in the next hurricane and I really feel like an Abrams tank with 1 1/4" ratchet weight straps!
