So far so good! for my opinion
We were trying to use our electric heater to warm the pool (southern AZ) and it just wouldn’t warm higher than 58-60 degrees, even after a week of it on constantly. So I bought this cover to try and within a day our pool was warmed into the 70s! Now, after a couple days it’s about 80 degrees. So it’s definitely working. I just don’t know how long it will last with our harsh Arizona sun, only time will tell.
- The clear material allows the sun's rays to penetrate the cover, further increasing the pool water temperature
- The cover may not be as resistant to chemicals or chlorine in the pool water
