I've never written a review before, but I feel that this product deserves one just based on my water heat preferences. We were getting about 90F + daytime outdoor temperatures but the pool temperature was still about 70-72F. In one day the pool temperature increased to 80F, unfortunately we had cold temperatures the last couple of days so the pool cooled down, but only to 74F and after another day of 90 degree daytime outdoor temperatures it went back up to 76 degrees. In our area we have a couple more days of colder temperatures coming up (low 70's), but I think this will at least keep the pool somewhat bearable until the warmer constant temperatures get here. One thing that we changed is that we started running the pump during the day after we got 80F because I was concerned that the temperature was only 80 on the surface and was still lower down below based on my daughter sticking her feet in the pool and saying it was still cold underneath. I submerged our thermometer and found that after running the pump during the day we were seeing consistent temps to 76 even 3-4ft under the surface and up to 7ft had no noticeable difference to me. I still feel like 76 is cold to me, but is at least usable when you get used to it. I'll be sure to add more to this review after we see what happens with consistent warm temperatures and running the pump during the day.Pros:- installation is easy at first- temperatures seem to climb by at least 10 degrees on the surface pretty immediately- temperatures seem to only drop by 5-6 degrees when the outdoor daytime temperatures drop 20 degrees- chlorine levels seem to stay more constant, we were adding chlorine to our pool every few days, but have only added it once in the week since putting this cover on our pool (we have pool leak that needs to be fixed so results could vary or be increased to excessive levels. I suggest checking them daily after installing this rather than sticking with the normal routine).Cons:- removing the cover is a slight pain for the shape of our pool which is kind of kidney shaped, but with bulges in the middle.- putting the cover back on is also a pain, but it still only takes about 10 minutes. I would prefer it to be faster.- We have a pool robot since our leak is in the pool sweep line and it tries to climb the pool blanket and sometimes just falls right off of it. This hasn't caused a cleaning problem, but it's kind of weird.
