Review on K5238 Evolution Drilled Slotted Ceramic by James Yarbrough

I bought brakes and wheels for my 2006 Mercedes E350. After installation and after the "running-in" procedure, I noticed a significant increase in braking performance. Around town the brakes are great and hold up much better than the OEM brakes. The problem I have with the brakes is that, firstly, they are very noisy and secondly, when I'm driving 130 km/h and come off the motorway, the brakes get very hot when I stop. Sometimes I get smoke from them and smell burned when heated. Knowing that brakes can get hot worries me and have reverted to the OEM solution. I do not recommend these breaks to anyone.
