Bought for my 70 year old father who just recovered from open heart surgery a year ago. In the two months before I got this, getting out of the car was such an obvious problem for him that it could take up to 10 minutes. With fall approaching and winter approaching, I just had to do something. Well since I gave it to my dad he jumped out of the car almost immediately. He loves to! And just for the record, he's quite a tall guy at 6'4" and weighs 250-270 pounds. Now that he can move and move around, he can actively work on maintaining his weight (and everything else) after surgery /rehab and a year long investigation to get the car back under control.Especially as they seem to get lower and lower every year.And although it does weigh a bit the size is not prohibitive so it fits in a purse or pocket can be carried, which gives you or your loved ones the opportunity to use it in any car.
