I bought this to mount my GPU vertically in the Coolermaster H500M case. It does it beautifully and doesn't suffer from any loss in performance, except running a few degrees higher due to the airflow characteristic of mounting the GPU next to the case's side window. The product comes in a cardboard box sealed in an anti-static bag. a bit long for my application, and the circuit board in my example is not needed since I didn't mount the circuit board, just installed it on the card and the card is attached to the case and hangs freely. I haven't noticed any problems with the gap, other than having to fold the tape to fit between the card and the motherboard. Slots as there is enough room on the band to fit around a low profile card. This was a problem as my motherboard doesn't have two USB 3.0 ports, but in my case it's necessary. An additional card is therefore required to be able to use all four USB 3.0 ports. The cable is rigid, so be careful when folding it to make room and be aware of the angle at which it enters the motherboard. My cable has a 90 degree connector on the GPU side, which helped a lot. Too much tension can damage any connection over time, and sharp bends in the strap can damage it. just be careful
