This kit is perfect for Arduino beginners like me as I've never played around with an Arduino before. It was very well thought out and packaged, I just wish it was a printed book rather than a .PDF on the CD. I made all of the examples in the book in one day and even learned enough to mix and match the examples. I was actually so excited about this kit that I think it will be a new hobby for me and I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone new and interested in microcontrollers. I would also highly recommend purchasing the book with this set as it helps highlight more than just the information in this set alone. Programming Arduino: Getting Started with Sketches, Second Edition (Tab) This book will teach you a lot and doesn't assume you have any prior programming experience. But this complete starter kit is more than enough to get you started. It has a wide range of quality sensors to get you started, as well as some great entry-level output devices. If you are planning to get started with Arduino, you should definitely get this kit!
