Wow. It is great! Normally, cables tend to fray after being cut, but they show little to no wear. The strands seem to mostly stay together through the polishing process. Even attaching the cable to the calipers was a bit of a surprise. I didn't pay much attention to what I was doing and I ended up tightening the lag screw on the cable, but the cable didn't deform much. They appear smooth even though no coating has been applied to them. They work very well as brake cables. I also like their light golden hue. I don't think I will ever go back to unpolished cables. Their higher cost is still affordable, and it's worth it. They can actually last longer if stretched since the strands of the cable appear to be "polished" tightly together.
