Let me start with the things I love about these lights. They are all metal, including the stakes, which means they are very sturdy and the fix in the ground really nicely. They are bright! I added some pictures so you can see what my house looks like lit up with and without the front porch lights on and it looks amazing. The house was so dark before with just the front porch lights or no lights, this is a huge improvement. I also love that they work with a variety of possible power supplies. I almost didn't believe it when I first saw that they said it would take 12VAC or 12VDC and up to 24V, etc. But, sure enough, it works like a charm! The old transformer I had, I thought was 12VDC, but it turns out it was 12VAC and I had no issues with the lights at all! Lastly, I love the price. All of this and very economically priced, it was a great deal.Ok, so what don't I like. Honestly the only thing I didn't like was the wire coming out of the lights themselves. It's a very small gauge, so trying to connect it up to standard 14 - 18 AWG wiring is challenging because the wiring from the lights is much smaller and stranded. I was using some wiretaps with spade connectors I had for another project and the spades I crimped on to the wires from the lights broke off a couple of times, even with heatshrink tubing reinforcing everything. However, all of that was a small price to pay for all the positives from this light set.Remember to buy a spool of wiring to connect all of these together and some good connectors, but I definitely recommend these!
