I originally purchased 12 of these lights in 2017 and installed them in November of that year. I took care to install them properly using 12ga wire as opposed to the 16ga that was recommended. I also used the waterproof, silicone filled wire connectors to guard against bad connections and corrosion. You will be pleased with the light output and color/temperature of these lights. They are of good quality construction.However, be aware that in order to use these lights, about $20-30 of additional hardware will need to be purchased. This product does not come with a power supply. I purchased an outdoor 30 watt 12 volt power supply transformer as well as 100 feet of 14 guage power wire for about $30 on amazon. You will both of those items in order for these to function.

I purchased these in March of 2018. They were easy to install w/ the other pieces I ordered. I used the Southwire 14/2 low voltage cable 100 ft, the Malibu 120 watt Power Pack, and the Moorays 11604 cable connectors. All in, it was about $185. The wire gauge is to small. Very fine individaul strands of wire - small as a human hair. It breaks when you try to assemble it with the 12 volt wire from the low voltage transformer. I know these are low voltage, and very low current products - I'm an Electronics Engineer, BSA degree . I have taken the lights apart and rewired with 16 AWG stranded wire. I've used Malibu low-voltage lighting in the past, and it seems one or more was always being finicky about staying lit. The connector mechanism wasn't great. Plus, the bulbs burned out relatively quickly. These LEDs from this Chinese company are soooooo much better. These lights are great for only 5 watt. Quite bright. The only small issue I had with these is that you cannot attach the light to the ground post without first disconnecting the mounting frame from the light. You cannot screw the attaching bolt as the light is in the way and if you are doing this out in the yard these side-mounting screws and washers are quite small and easy to lose in the yard. These lights are great considering their price. I’ve had them installed around the front of my house for roughly three years now. They run dusk till dawn every day. They provide a nice diffuse soft white light that is pleasant and really shows off the house. Super bright. Haven’t noticed it’s effected our electricity bill at all to run these dusk-dawn daily the last several months. Was very easy to modify these to attach to trim of siding with clips that can screw onto the metal body of the lights where they pivot allowing them to be aimed where you’d like. I really like these LED lights. At only 5W they are surprisingly bright. I use them to light up side of house and uplight for trees in yard. I have 1 dim after a year but I'd still recommend these.

Even the 5wt Warm lights are SO BRIGHT. I used less of them than expected. So I had a few spots left over to put in my front garden too. Easy to install if you buy the extra quick connectors

These are easy lights to install with normal landscape wire. The lights are nice and bright and are metal, so they hold up well to the elements.
