I used this mount for a Sony XBR-X55900E and it worked great. I was able to install the bracket and then mount the TV to it myself. The included instructions and the video available on the Kanto website made the installation easy and straightforward. Make sure you have the right tools as I had to buy a 13mm socket for my ratchet wrench. The only issue I had was that all four screws holding the extension block to the mounting frame were frozen solid. I had to hit the ratchet handle several times with a hammer to loosen each of the four screws. Otherwise, the entire installation went very smoothly. I was able to align the TV perfectly by slightly loosening the three mounting screws, placing the level on the TV, and then re-tightening the screws with the level in the middle. I was also able to perfectly center the TV in the room by removing the four screws that attached the extension assembly to the mounting bracket, moving the extension assembly to the other holes on the bracket, and then reinserting and tightening the screws. . The ability to move the TV away from the wall was very useful to me. Aside from the fact that the four cable holders on the mounts aren't very practical (usually cables get pinched when the mount is removed no matter how hard I tried to route the cables), I found this mount to be very stable and easy to use . customize, and good value.
