A few months ago I bought a Pug Life harness for our dog Gus, a 10 year old golden retriever. It was great - easy to put on and take off, with a handle (on the dog's back) to reassure him we've got him when he gets in our Ford Excursion (he doesn't jump well). age). A few weeks ago, Gus rode in the back of my car as usual when I had to brake to avoid colliding with the car pulling out of the parking lot in front of me. Poor Gus landed on the ground and stayed there the rest of the way home. That's when I decided to buy seat belts, one for my car and one for my husband's car. One end inserts into the seat belt anchorage, the other end attaches to the ring on the back of the seat belt. Gus is fine with his seat belt on as he is adjusted to sit and look out the window. It's so good to know our boy won't fall down again.
