Years of using crappy drugstore clippers has led me to look for better alternatives. I had no idea there was such a market for better products! It's quite interesting to have hardened steel clippers (in Japan). Hopefully this means they stay sharp longer than regular clippers. They are small and compact, but easy to hold and easy to use. The file built into the back of the handle is durable. I could probably sharpen my knives with this! While the leather case is a cool feature (it's real, thick leather), I thought there was a bit of fuzz in the presentation that didn't really add value. Turns out I was wrong. The case is approximately 1" x 2" x 1/4" thick so adds little to no bulk and makes it much easier NOT to lose the clippers while carrying as the extra surface area stays in place. into the little recesses of my pockets and lose myself in that universe where single socks disappear.
