I bought this Swift yarn for Christmas. I like that the main working parts are made of wood. It has been sanded to a beautifully smooth finish that won't snag on yarn. It's easy to set up and use, and works well with smooth movements. The extension of the umbrella portion of the scissors is adjustable so the loop of the hank of yarn can be easily attached to the scissors with just the right amount of tension to keep the yarn taut. It folds neatly and compactly to fit back into the box it arrived in for easy storage and that's how I plan to keep it. Combined with a manual ball winder, I was able to reduce the time it takes to wrap a ball from around 1.5 hours to 10 minutes, giving me more time to actually knit.
