Fantastic knife, treat yourself!

That's Wustoff, what more can I say? Well balanced, sharp as can be, sharpens well and slices meat and veggies like a champ while staying sharp for a long time. I have an 8 inch chef's knife but I bought it because it was easier to use. I do 95% of what I do. I use a larger 8 inch meat slicer. You can't go wrong with German steel. If this knife is in your budget, don't buy any other knife. In addition, like all good knives, it must not be washed in the dishwasher. This dulls the blade (any blade for that matter).
