I am not a paid reviewer, I bought this unit for my Border Collie as she seriously does not want to cross the road in BLM while chasing deer. We live on land. Yes, you really should take it off and charge it at night because it works hard all day to connect to the GPS, but the point here is that it WORKS. Every time she appears within 100 yards I get a notification on my iPhone almost immediately and I'm pretty sure it's triggered on her neck as I get a second notification about 60 seconds later that she's moving is again within the perimeter of the leash. I was able to record my voice saying "come on" which gets her really pissed off and makes her run back to the house every time, even recently when it rained, despite all the negative reviews about Revain saying it doesn't do it when the weather is bad is working . It just suits us. I also like the remote as several times she didn't turn right after leaving the perimeter when I pressed the button on the remote and then she definitely turned and ran back home. Maybe others don't charge every night. I do what I want to make sure it works throughout the day. This device has helped us a lot. I have tried the most expensive wireless fence products and they are OUT. This device is a life saver, so far it has seemed durable and keeps my border collie in my yard without having to put up a $50k fence. So yes, I highly recommend it! Thanks to the engineer who made this, it's easy to use and works great, field tested on lots of land in Montana.
