Excellent 4G LTE Gateway and Router with Commercial Antenna

Gl.iNet Cirrus LTE LTE Router and Gateway are well made, competitively priced and fast. Commercial-grade dual antennas eliminate the need for mesh networks in my home. The 4G LTE modem connects stably and quickly to masts in my area. 80 Mbit/s were achieved with T-Mobile and 40 Mbit/s with AT&T. When connected to my Google Fiber Webpass WAN, it hits speeds in excess of 1Gb/s, and the LAN port is Gigabit Ethernet, so it's fast enough for Ultra HD 4K HDR streaming. There are a few things that could be improved. Like the other reviewer, it would be nice to have incoming SMS, but it's not required. I would like to have more than 1 Gigabit Ethernet LAN port or WiFi 6 or 6e available. I wish external cellular antenna ports were available to improve cellular connectivity as the Quectel EC25 4G LTE modem is Cat 4 only. Otherwise, the Cirrus LTE is very reasonably priced and is the best 4G LTE gateway and router I've ever used, even when compared to a mainstream competitor that costs at least double the price. The Gl.iNet support forums are great for solving any issues I'm having, including issuing AT commands to the modem to force a connection to specific LTE bands. I am very happy with Cirrus LTE and would recommend it to anyone using mobile internet as their primary internet provider or as a backup to their fixed terrestrial internet service.
