I have 3 lizards. Beardie and 2 geckos so I have 3 lamps, one for each body. Used less than 3 months. A heat lamp exploded over my cage of geckos, thank god he wasn't in it at the time. It was only used 8 hours a day. The other bulb doesn't work at all, I've tried new bulbs and it's still bad. I had to buy an alternative. The 3rd lamp is red hot and I can't use it for fear of damaging my beard or the geckos. I used the heat lamps that came with it. I would not recommend it. They are not safe for your lizards and most likely a fire hazard. If I hadn't been around to see it glowing red it would have either burned my beard (it was red hot) or set the whole place on fire.
