Review on Monster MBL FM XMTR300 Discontinued Manufacturer by Johnny Santana

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great device. on Portable Audio & Video

You'll need to spend a few minutes looking for the best channels, but once you've found them you're good to go. I don't even have to move from my first station to the others, and I live in a very large metropolitan area (Washington, DC). If you have to change stations frequently, set the radio settings to 1, 2 and 3. Adjust monster presets for 1, 2, and 3. Simply. To get the best sound quality, turn your MP3 player/iPod 1-2 steps below maximum and then tune the radio to the desired sound. If you turn the MP3 player to maximum, the FM modulator will lose quality, but you want to keep the volume on the radio as low as possible, since that's where you pick up and amplify most of the noise. The device also works well in the car, no matter where it is. I have a 12vdc plug in the armrest between the passenger and driver seats so I leave the transmitter there and the cable goes to my iPod. That's a strong signal. So far no issues with weak cable causing static/cutoff but I'll update if it happens too soon. I've had it for about a month now.
