Does what it says on the tin for FM stations

Upgraded my car but bluetooth won't play my music or audiobooks (my old car - get it). The solution is an FM transmitter. Yes, as others have said, there is a slight squeak or hiss at times. But overall he does what he says. I plug in my phone, plug in the transmitter, select a station on the transmitter, tune to the same station on my stereo, and press play on my phone. Good to go! This is so much better than putting the phone to everyone's ear/head to hear my…

Works perfectly! - FM Transmitter

This little thing works great. There are a few things to note, but other than that it's been working flawlessly for over a year. Mostly I keep it on one channel. In the event of interference, one of the other channels is usually free, but I rarely have to change it. It's more prone to interference on cold and cold days, but changing channels usually fixes that. Only once have I had to unhook it and grab a CD while driving, and that was a year ago in Sacramento last December. The atmosphere must

just what i needed in bluetooth and fm transmitters

my cd player in my car is not working and instead of buying a new stereo i decided to get an fm transmitter to play music in the car hear. I've had cheap devices in the past and mostly found them useless - signal barely worked, music sounded awful, device had to be near an antenna etc etc etc I decided I wouldn't spend a little more money, to get a Monster FM transmitter because there was no point in spending money unless it worked perfectly. And this one does. No problem, easy setup, works…

Great device. on Portable Audio & Video

You'll need to spend a few minutes looking for the best channels, but once you've found them you're good to go. I don't even have to move from my first station to the others, and I live in a very large metropolitan area (Washington, DC). If you have to change stations frequently, set the radio settings to 1, 2 and 3. Adjust monster presets for 1, 2, and 3. Simply. To get the best sound quality, turn your MP3 player/iPod 1-2 steps below maximum and then tune the radio to the desired sound. If…

It's a monster! - Portable audio and video

I like this transmitter. I've had two others that I bought at the recommendation of people here (iRiver AFT 100 and Belkin TuneCast II), but this one wins by a wide margin. It's thin and doesn't take up much space in my car. The audio when using the Monster cable transmitter was very crisp and clear. If you copied your mp3 file in high quality, the sound will be pretty close to that of a CD. I was very surprised to see that it had enough power to cover live stations (with some noise depending…

Seller wants best QC

See my Coby CA-745 Transmitter Review for more information. I bought this Monster RadioPlay 300 based on price and overall rating. Arrived broken and used. The wire near the socket was positional, meaning it was broken internally and only worked when the wire was at a certain angle; The cord dangled and dangled while driving, leaving the transmitter in disrepair. Also, the screen and case were badly scratched, leading me to conclude that the company had sent me the returned device because it…

Researched in the Portable audio and video category

Arrived quickly. Works as advertised. I always read customer reviews and this Monster product has had a lot of positive feedback which is always a good sign. And I've had enough experience with it to record messages from newbies, callers, or competitors, so I tend to drop those lazy-sounding reviews when making judgments. The fact is I live in "the slums" where there are a lot of empty spots on the VHF band. I notice that the high frequencies (100.1 and higher) appear relatively free of noise…

Piece of shit, the best FM stations

This product is terrible. First of all, you can only tune into one of the three stations you have programmed. If these three stations are not giving you a clear signal now, you will need to reprogram one of the stations to the new station you wish to use. And there's no way of knowing if a new transmitter will work until you've bothered to reprogram one of the buttons. Second, the audio jack will not fit into my phone's headphone jack unless I take my phone case off. The main reason I bought…
