I chose this hob because Best Buy failed (only buy takeaway from them) and Revain got it here in time for mine Renovation that was underway. So far (3 months) it's been great. The installation was done by a rebuilder, I can't say anything about that. It cooks great and has a nice layout with a large burner in the back and where the rest is. My wife is Italian and makes sauce in a 3 gallon pot, I swear I've never seen a pot that big. But he gets the right temperature and keeps it "MUST MIX THE SAUCE" for hours. Boiling works fine but stays hot as hell if you move the pot elsewhere. The whole thing appears to be scorching hot, meaning the environment is hotter than my old environment; I just have to get used to it. The timing elements are pretty good with the big grille we have. Also works well without syncing with the same frying pan if that's what you need to be happy. Looks fun and needs a scraping, brushing and buffing from time to time depending on how anal you feel about its looks; I'm anal so every 4 cooking times or so. In my experience (third glass hob) this is normal and true. The handles are a bit difficult to clean even after removing them, but Best Buy couldn't make my first choice, which is why I'm here. Did I mention I've never ordered anything from Best Buy? All in all a great cooktop.
