Two output levels of 94dB and 114dB with Output frequency of 1000Β±0.1%Hz (allows calibration with A,B,C or D weighting networks or linear). Fits 1⁄2 inch and 1 inch microphones (includes 1⁄2 inch adapter). Easy One handed operation with low battery indicator. Battery life approx. 100 hours and Conforms to IEC942 Class 1. Altitude Effects: Approximately0.1dB decrease for each 2000ft increase in altitude from the sea level to 12,000ft elevation or comparable atmospheric pressure change (approx. every 50mm of Hg decrease).

Poor workmanship/reliability

Was very disappointed with the build quality. I noticed a drop in speaker sound pressure level over time that made me want to come back.

Excellent low cost calibrator

Excellent low cost calibrator. I was skeptical as this is the cheapest of them all. But it works fine. Fulfills the advertised task of calibrating my Smart 8 microphone.

Sturdy and accurate

Delivery was fast. I have compared it to other more expensive branded calibrators and this one is exactly the same. I've dropped it a lot too. still work fine.

Great calibrator

Great calibrator. Feels solid and did exactly what it was supposed to do. There was a question and answer saying it would fit the DBX rta mic but it WAS NOT. To do this, you need to buy an adapter from 1/2 inch to 10 mm. Rational Acoustics has one in their online store.

Set too low, not calibrated!

Not calibrated! The gain is set at about 3.5dB lower, but I found an adjustment (no instructions) and was able to get it where my meter thought it should be. But I still have to take it to check. Just hope he stays consistent after that.
