I work on a 90's Vortec 350 and bought this plate adapter for my 1.5 ton port cargo rack which I modified with a gear to rotate. I had trouble with the original levers not wanting to bolt flush to the block and they moved and lowered the motor a few inches every time I turned it! I decided I wouldn't risk destroying my block! And what a difference! Not only is the block flush with the stand, I can rotate the block to any angle I like without shifting the load! The added support from using all of the bell body bolt holes also allows me to re-hammer the pistons in more comfortably and add extra weight to the bushings and accessories. Must also comment on the excellent seller! It was Thursday and I had an incident where the carrier marked the package as delivered but it never happened. Confident that it was NOT stolen I contacted the seller and on Saturday without wasting time I slept in another just in case! The original showed up the next day on a Friday but I was very impressed with the way I was looked after to ensure I had the plate for the weekend. The seller only instructed me to return the excess, which I did. Will trade again, thanks!
