Review on 🍳 16.75 Inch Lodge Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle in Black by Brian Edwards

I was looking for a flat top grill to cook hibachi style food and this fits the bill. Pros: Gusseisenhütte can't go wrong. A quality piece of iron. Fits and works great with my glass top electric range. It heats up quickly and distributes heat at about par with other cast iron cookware. Comes pre-seasoned but I still seasoned it when I got it. Also works great in later versions. . The side of the grill (non-flat surface) always produces a lot of smoke when cooking on the stovetop. I've tried different methods and products but leaking juice always seems to set off my smoke alarm. When cooking with oil, be prepared for excessive splattering as it doesn't have raised edges. Overall: This is a great addition to any kitchen and I've used it more times than I intended. Ideal for cooking large quantities of food at the same time (several grilled sandwiches, steaks, hamburgers, etc.)
