I have used these jacks to connect 3rd party speakers to my car stereo where wiring is not possible. I soldered the speaker wire to the terminal to get the best possible connection. I had to remove one of the speakers a few weeks after installation. With a slight movement, the terminal broke off and had to be redone. Luckily, I connected the car's wiring to a modular tee. I was able to solder another one and hopefully it doesn't have to be redone again.
