This metal stand doesn't look or feel cheap, but it works. It fits any non-crazy shaving brush and doesn't take up much space. The brush rests bristles down on the stand. This way gravity will help dry the brush after washing. If you let the badger hair shaving brush dry while standing bristles up on the base, it will not dry well and the hair will weaken and fall out. A good badger brush doesn't come cheap, so you want it to last as long as possible. For this reason, the stand is a must-buy and you can hardly go wrong with it.
