I took it mainly to help me pour wine neatly and it looked nice. It's a little wider than my previous one it replaces, but it's easy to put on and take off without leaking. Cleaning is fairly easy, as is rinsing and washing. You can't fully clean the inner nozzle with anything other than maybe a straw cleaner, but I was too lazy to do that. Time will tell if he can stay clean. It has a small vent and I suppose it should be kept clean and open. I don't know much about wine. Just drink and enjoy. My friends say there is a big difference and the appendix seems to help. That's really all I need. It's also a good standout part, so it looks better than the one it replaces. I think it's a worthwhile purchase. We drink quite a bit of bubbly and champagne and unfortunately I don't think that would be a good option for them so I need something else to pour them properly. Aside from a few minor issues, it's almost perfect for what I need it for.
