Review on 🧈 OXO Good Grips Butter Dish: Ultimate Convenience and Easy Handling by Richard Counts

My least favorite part of this dish is the lid

I had a butter stick container which I really liked. The one you just stick your butter stick (wrapper and all) in and it fits and snaps perfectly. The best part is that it fits perfectly in my butter compartment in the fridge, doesn't take up much space and I can drop it a million times over (because to be honest I keep garlic and other things in that compartment so it gets crowded a lot) and it never breaks ! I love it. Until it finally ripped (at least 6 years later. They really are durable) and I had to replace it. What brought me here. The oxo oiler looked nice, it had a nice tall lid, measurement markings. Everything is great, but it was way bigger than my plastic container, and what's the worst? The lid doesn't snap at all. It's actually quite fluffy, and on days when my fridge is full I can imagine the plate falling off, oil spilling on the bottom, a cracked lid, etc. etc. It's good for a display on your table at mealtime . It does the job, but I'm not sure the lid is really good at keeping my oil fresh. So I am not very satisfied with this product. If they changed the lid design I'd like it a lot more, but I'll keep looking. Oh, and it's a lot bigger than it looks in the picture. At least compared to the oil container I had. This one takes up a lot more space and I'm not a fan. Sorry Okso.
