UPDATE 2: I was sent a blue backlit replacement but never received it. I got the 3rd light and installed it fine. UPDATE: You can turn off the strobe lights entirely. Just press and hold the up button for 3 seconds. I wish I had known earlier so I could have ordered blue lights but no one was able to answer me. Now I can't send it back because I had to change it to make it work on the new mounts. Very annoying. The cables are too short, requiring you to purchase a proprietary extension. The brackets are useless except for mounting on a flat surface. I had to drill new holes in the center of the end caps and cut them for larger screws to use the brackets so I could rotate the light bar appropriately. Concerned about how it would hold up as the end caps look like cheap metal aluminum and are flimsy. Also check the functionality and brightness. I would like to be able to optionally turn off the flashlights completely and turn them on at will. I wanted blue flashes but they are illegal for traffic and I was forced to get amber ones.
