Comparison of Eclipser HD and Eclipse Shades

I bought a pair of Eclipser HD from American Paper Optics and a pair of Eclipse Shade from Rainbow Symphony. I did a quick comparison of them (along with the free pair of paper shadows that comes with Eclipse Shades) and here are my first impressions. I wear prescription glasses. Both fit better and block more stray light from the sides than regular paper umbrellas. The paper can even stay in place upside down. Personally, I find Eclipse shadows block a little more ambient light, but that probably depends on the type of glasses I'm wearing.2. In terms of construction, the silver Eclipse HD reflective sheeting feels thinner than the black Eclipse Shades sheeting, which looks and feels a little more durable. The Eclipser HD silver film appears to be made from a paper-like material.3. When looking at the Sun, all three project the Sun as an orange-yellow disk and look sharp. Of the three, the Eclipse Shades sun looks the darkest (more orange) but has the least amount of halo. The sun on the Eclipser HD and the paper screen looks a bit brighter (instead of dark orange, it tends towards yellowish orange), but there seems to be more of a halo around the sun. Eclipser HD is more than paper blinds. I don't have a conclusion which is better as the eclipse hasn't arrived yet. Would a slightly brighter sun (but with a larger halo) rendered by the Eclipser HD make my experience more enjoyable than a slightly dimmer Eclipse Shades sun with less halo? I don't know, I think I'll switch back and forth on the day of the eclipse. If I had to choose a pair at this point, I would probably choose the Eclipse sunglasses because they fit better (for me) and the sun is "cleaner" (with the least amount of halo). You can't go wrong with any of them. of these. I definitely don't recommend paper shadows, which let in too much ambient light and don't stay on my face at all. My recommendation is, whether you wear glasses or not, it's worth spending $15 more on plastic glasses once in a lifetime.
