Good case. The lining is a felt fabric that has no padding but looks reasonable. It has a long 3 inch loop and stays closed very well. It can't be longer because the body is contoured. The shape and fit is very precise so you won't get any dust or debris in this case. A fitted pair of glasses is approximately 5-1/2" L x 2" W x 1'1/2" H. All but the largest glasses will fit. I love that there is a choice of colors. I chose maroon because it doesn't look like most things I have around the house or in the car and I can find it easily and it works!
