I print patterns in PDF format on regular A4 paper at home and have to glue them together. While any ribbon will do, the problem arises when I fold my patterns to store them in Manila envelopes. If I want to use the pattern again, it won't lay flat because of the many creases, so I have to iron it. Regular tape melts under the iron, so I had to avoid sticky spots when ironing. Not easy because I glue a lot! So I looked for a tape that could withstand the iron and I wasn't sure if it would work. Questions from customers weren't answered positively either, but when I finally ran out of tape at home, I decided to do it. I mean you can always use duct tape at home. Luckily this tape works great! I used it to tape the sheets together and applied the iron directly to the tape with no problems. And the tape is transparent enough that if I ever need to tape a seam line, I can still see through it.
