Product worked well after I cut the first few threads (between LEDs). After I cut another one in the same style, the lights went out for a minute and then slowly started flashing white. Now I cannot control or change them with the remote control or the button on the USB. Some other remarks, white is not pure white, it is a very cold white with a slight green tint. I thought they looked beautiful, like actual fairy lights, but I know this can be an issue for those who want pure white. The hooks above each thread are very small, about the size to be used with wall mounted hooks or cords. I loved the product until I accidentally ruined it. UPDATE: I ordered a second set and didn't cut any of the strands. I folded it in half and carefully twisted/knitted the longer strands. That second sentence only works sometimes. I can never get the remote to turn it on only to change color as soon as I press the button to turn it on. Sometimes they turn on immediately when you press the button, other times they somehow don't blink as expected. Sometimes they don't turn on at all. I don't know what the problem is. I have tested the USB converter they are connected to and it works great with other products. Overall, not worth the hassle if you intend to use them more than once. Second update: The seller contacted me several times to try to fix the situation right after I submitted my feedback. The second set stopped working after the second day (doesn't turn on at all). I'm using the type of power supply the seller says (5V 1.5A or just 2A) and they still don't work. I added a star because the seller is willing to work with me / get my money back, but honestly I still don't think I would recommend buying this product.
