I used these clamps on the hydrofarm hose. They work well enough for my application. These clamps require large wedge pliers or channel locks to properly tighten. Once tightened, they hold up very well to my application of cold water. They're fairly easy to remove unless you set them very firmly, in which case they will take some force to deflect the top (middle) ridge out of alignment with the other teeth, relieving tension. I gave them 5 stars because the cost of the verses is worth it - also I can't find anything negative to complain about.
