It worked as advertised. I use it on 3TB drives and it's as good as they advertised. I/O speed also corresponds to the declared one. Overall a good buy. Hope it lasts me a few years. The only annoying thing is that when you connect the device to the hard drive, it isn't quite level. This means if you place the drive on a table, the SATA and power connectors on the drive will hold the device. The device does not touch the table. I had to place the unit on a stack of paper so it would rest on the paper instead of hanging from the SATA hard drive and power slot.
