OK, I'll admit it's funny that these "inaccurate" cooking amounts are systematized in a tool like this. That doesn't mean it's any less useful. These thick stainless steel spoons are a great helper for a real cook. I confess that I don't always measure scientifically. However, some spices work best in small amounts – and there may be times when writing out a recipe, for example, where you need credible repeatability even in those small amounts.
