It works out. as if.
Easy to install and affordable. The product works but not as well as advertised. Immediately I got an extra 1.5mpg! The instructions that came with the chip said it could take up to 1 week to see full results. So I was expecting even more mpg but unfortunately it started to drop. It appears to be holding an extra 0.5mpg after 1 week of driving it (just 10% of potential claims). So it will pay off eventually, but not as quickly as I was hoping. I installed the chip in a 2003 Navigator, results may vary by vehicle and year. By the way, this product contains a chip. Unlike some products that only have one resistor in the package.
