This is a darn good little lighter, especially for the price. (although the review request included an estimate of "thickness". I don't know how important a lighter thickness is). This little butane lighter was failsafe, compact, versatile and has a gooseneck that allows the flame to be directed in any position and folds neatly into the lighter. It is very compact and actually quite an eye-catcher as a lighter. And you get two for the asking price. It is unreasonable to expect such a small lighter to hold a large amount of fuel. If someone needs a device to travel long distances between fill ups they will need a much larger lighter but this lighter fits easily in a pocket and if refilled from a butane cylinder from time to time it will do the job. The resulting flame is under slight pressure. Therefore, unlike the "Bik" type lighter, it can be pointed almost straight down or to the side, although the pressure behind the flame is not extreme. You won't use it as a knife, but it has enough pressure to guide the flame effectively to start a fire, light a candle set deep in itself, or for other uses. My favorite thing to do is set off fireworks. Also good for a cigar or pipe. I recommend this product.
