Review on 🔝 High-Quality Mercer Industries 324045-4-1/2"x 5/8"-11 Backing Pad for Semi-Flexible Discs - Superior Performance and Durability by Daveon Jumps

I bought this grinding wheel hoping it would be a quality product that would work well with my new coffee grinder. Unfortunately this was not the case. When I first opened the package I was disappointed with the quality (or lack thereof) of the back cover. Sharp edges on aluminum and cheap rubber to touch. However, I thought it would still work fine, but I was wrong! My first use was grinding welds on some steel tubing and within ten minutes two thirds of the rubber decided they didn't want to stick to the rest of the pad anymore and were throwing themselves at my hip and falling to the ground. I admit I really overdid it with the 36 pad. However, this was limited to a 11000rpm grinder and I handled this pad just as well as the other grinders in the shop. It just couldn't handle the workload of the professional environment.
