I like the switch layout that the first click from the "OFF" position is DC voltage because I've used it for a circuit when most of the meter is AC voltage. Because there are 5 digits on the display, the number appears smaller than a typical counter of this size. This counter has a lot of hacks on the internet. There are many missing features that need to be hacked. There is no backlight. No automatic shutdown. I hacked to disable autopower function by turning off RS232.
