The batteries in my Braun shaver run out after about 3 shaves between charges. For $6 I decided to give these a try (high performance, low cost) and if the experiment didn't work I would buy a new razor. Razor batteries have snap contacts on each end (too expensive) so I decided to solder them in. After an initial charge and 9 shaves, they still work without a charge. No 5 stars because it seems (if I read the packaging correctly) that it will expire 4 years ago. After installing them I was very concerned that this was junk because the shaver wouldn't turn on, but then I charged it fully and everything seems fine now. I checked the voltage before charging and it was around 0.7 volts which is well below the nominal voltage but after charging it rose to the correct level. A note for those who need to solder batteries (e.g. in a Braun razor). The solder doesn't stick to the outer plating of the test contacts, but if you file them lightly to expose the base metal, it works fine. Be careful not to overheat the battery when soldering. I understand that you can destroy them if you use the heat for too long, although I haven't had this problem.
