Review on 49" TV LG 49UK6200 2018 LED, HDR, black by Chia Hao ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

We have long dreamed of a big smart TV with UHD 4K resolution and a juicy picture. The TV set is just a bomb, my wife is delighted! We watch movies in 3840x2160 - we never get tired of admiring the clarity of the image. 50 gig movies from a hard drive fly without brakes. I didn’t quite understand what the HDR feature is - I didn’t notice a significant difference, but it doesn’t bother me. This TV in terms of price / quality ratio far leaves behind its competitors. Definitely no worse than competitors. All the shortcomings described are rather nit-picking and do not affect the quality of the TV. Take it, you won't regret it.

Pros
  • Very high quality picture, clear and rich! Nice surround sound. Slim frame. Smooth frame change. Movies in 4K are a pleasure to watch. Recognizes a 1TB hard drive without problems. Convenient app store. Works fast on WiFi, does not lose the signal. The player is very omnivorous. Viewing angles are good. Smart functions are fast. You can watch YouTube while nothing slows down. There is a browser that quickly loads pages on a waffle. I liked that the plug on the cord is curved, we have an outlet behind the TV, so this shape is very convenient.
Cons
  • Inconvenient remote control included. There is no Sleep button, to turn on the timer you have to go into the settings all the time. It is very difficult to turn subtitles on and off in the player, you need to do about a dozen actions to do this. It also has fragile legs, but we have it hanging on the wall, so we don’t need it. Too confusing and complicated menu, to find the right setting you need to rummage for a long time. The TV has a function to stop connected devices such as a hard disk. But after its "extraction" in the menu, the disk itself continues to work and spin. If you remove it at this moment, then the next time the TV will offer to check it for errors. Wait for the disk drive to stop completely before removing it! Another point - the TV has a thin matrix, which is poorly fixed in the case. One feels how the matrix dangles in the case when it is moved. But we have it hanging on the wall, we try not to move it.
