I like it a lot. I can squeeze in 1 full flake out of a 1000 lb bale and I can definitely fit 4 flake out of a small bale. Closing the rope didn't seem that great, but I like it. This bag is very easy to stuff and close. I just thread the rope through the loops of the clasp and tie it in a knot at the end. I have about 6 inches of rope tail that I use to carry. I use it in my mare's stable and throw it directly on the ground. Sometimes she moves him, but it's not destructive or playful, so you can just sit there. There's nothing to catch her hoof for. She is NOT savvy. If so, I would be very concerned that it isn't on the floor as shoes could get caught. This slows them down and takes about three times as long to finish their hay. The goal is for her to have something to nibble on between meals, which should reduce the likelihood of ulcers. It took her several days to figure out how to get the hay. She ignored it for the first 24 hours but now she is eating very well. It's very good for her back to have it on the floor. Highly recommended. This item is very durable and I believe it will last a very long time. I love it.
