It's been a particularly cold winter and our dog can't miss his regular walks. We got this to keep her warm as we cut her hair pretty short. It worked great. It's easy to put on and feels quite comfortable. She's really in awe of wearing it, eagerly waiting for her cock and sitting still until it's on. She could handle both rain and snow. I would advise you to be careful when drying to avoid shrinkage. We put it next to the wood stove and it worked very well. I've never tried a tumble dryer before. This sweater was longer than others we tried which is great for a skinny dog with a longer body. The small size suits us. Update: after half a dozen walks it started to stretch in the chest area. On the last walk she wore it, one or the other front leg kept getting stuck in the sweater, she just walked at normal speed. I'm lowering my rating by one star. Now I'm wondering if we should have taken size XS. I measured the bitch and she is 17 inches from neck to base of tail, 17 inches around chest and 14 inches around belly. I might try shrinking the sweater a bit before wearing it this year.
