Flexible and thin neoprene, perfect to protect my son from cold water and UV!Sizing from Hyperflex appears correct to me: my son is 4'1" and 55 pounds, I ordered size 6. It fits nicely with some room to grow.Update: after less than 2 months of light usage (twice a week), the zipper is out of order (derailed, impossible to put it back on). My wife is going to sew velcro to allow the wetsuit to close so that my son can still use it. The wetsuit itself is not worn, only the zipper failed: if I could change my rating I would give it 3 stars for low quality zipper.
