I am disappointed in this machine. It was easy to use once I found a good spot to place the meat on the press. The edge of this press is very narrow, about a quarter of an inch, and the edge is only on one side of the press. Instead of nice round chops, you get meatballs. See photos. Since there are no lips on either side of the press, it leaves holes in your chops. The press works and squeezes the patties, but they are ugly, they are very thin, and the finished cutlet is not very tight. I used my scale to weigh a quarter pound since it is listed as a quarter pound press.
