I bought two of these and they are great but with some caveats. The first one I bought came with instructions which raised more questions than the instructions. I finally figured it out, but it took a long time, and unless you're part detective, part mechanic, just forget it. Another issue is that it eats batteries and there's no warning when they're dead. The supplied original battery didn't even last a month. I swapped out three batteries last summer so I really don't know how far I've gotten. I guess maybe 1000 km? Forget the illuminated dial. To turn it on, you have to hold down two buttons at the same time, which is not easy in the dark. It doesn't stay on. On the other hand, the accuracy is very good and I really liked the calorie counter function. In addition, it is inexpensive. The second one I bought came with improved instructions, but neither set indicated that the large o-ring held the device to the crossbar or handlebars. It's pretty easy. I don't know how they missed it. Hope that helps.
