Review on Xcellent Global Motorcycle Shoe Protector Boot Cover - Shifter Companion Black AT022 by Josh Sheehan

This shoe cover does what it was designed to do - protect your shoes! Protection is good and coverage is good (I have another one that came with a pair of boots and is tiny) and at first glance the concept is good but after a few weeks of use here are my thoughts-1. I've found that I don't like carrying around an extra item when I already have other gear (helmet, gloves, etc.)2. I don't like putting on and taking off when getting on and off. Yes, it's only a few seconds, but it's one more step when riding a motorcycle is already quite strenuous3. You lose traction with the bottom of your left foot on concrete, the type of concrete used in most garage floors. I slip a little in the garage at home and a little in the garage when I get to work. I still give it 4 stars because it does what it's designed to do, and does it well, but I don't really like using it. I think I'll try a small rubber boot that goes over the switch and solves problems 1-3 above, although I'm not sure if it will also protect my shoes.
