What can I say? These are Schmetz Microtex sewing machine needles. They did everything I needed from sewing to basting and topstitching. The reason to buy micrtex is that it can do whatever you want with woven and durable fabrics. For those of you new to sewing you need something precise, especially for topstitching. You can get by with utility needles for sewing, but they may not do what needs to be done on the right side. The owner of a small sewing workshop drew my attention to mixcrotex. I sew A LOT and have found this to be a great deal and I don't have to run to the store to buy more needles every week.
