I recently installed a Mac Mini (Late 2012 model) on my Windows 10 triple monitor workstation for development purposes and wanted to run 2560 x 1440 resolution on one of my monitors whose DP port was already installed by Windows - Desktop is used. 1440p resolution requires dual link DVI and the adapters I had were single link only so I had to settle for HDMI which this old mini can only handle at 1080p. Not the monitor's native resolution, it has been upscaled and is a bit soft and fuzzy. So I started looking for an mDP dual link DVI adapter and found that most are quite expensive. approaching $100. After reading that this one supports dual-channel and 1440p for $17, I was skeptical. But I dared and decided to dare. It really worked! I now have the full resolution of my Mac Mini's monitor!
